Ansteorra Stables
Tennessee Walking Horses

At Ansteorra, we focus on safety and fitting the horse to the rider's ability level. We work with beginning riders age 5 to 95 as well as experienced adults either new to gaited breeds or wishing to improve their horsemanship on the ground or in the saddle. Tennessee Walkers are well known as gentle, willing partners who are a joy to ride because of their smooth flat walk and running walk and comfortable rocking chair canter. A Tennessee Walking Horse is calm enough for a child to handle, but also makes an excellent mount for baby boomers or riding enthusiasts with knee or back pain, as there is no posting the trot. Lessons are available at our facility using our well-trained Walkers. We can also work with you and your gaited horse at your home or boarding stable. Lessons are currently being given off of 249 between Tomball and Magnolia at our temporary location.
