"A horse is only as good as his feet." Keep your horse's hooves in optimum condition with regular trimming and the correct shoes to compliment or improve his gaits. Our experienced farrier can travel to your farm or stable in the Houston/Conroe area and will work with any breed of horse. However, we specialize in the angles and specific shoe requirements of Tennessee Walkers and Racking Horses. We work with you to create a complete hoof care plan based on your horse's conformation, way of going, riding style, and your goals. Don't trust your horse to just anyone. Trims (single horse) $35.00 Trims (4 or more horses at same site) $30.00 2 New Keg Shoes $75.00 Reset 2 Shoes $65.00 4 New Keg Shoes $100.00 Reset 4 Shoes $85.00 Lite Shod Shoes Add $10.00 per pair for new shoes Pleasure Walking Horse Shoes Add $15.00 per pair for new shoes Shoe Removal (no trim, etc.) $15.00 per pair Hoof Treatment (for thrush, dry feet, etc.) $10.00 per horse Hoof Repair & Reconstruction $40.00 and up (based on average repairs such as toe, quarter, heel, crack, etc.) Missed/Cancelled Appointments We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Failure to do so will result in invoice being sent for time/income lost. Bad-Mannered Horses If your horse is considered difficult or dangerous and we do manage to work on him, add $10.00. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe there is potential for injury. Overdue Horses (animals not kept up on a regular basis) Add $15.00 Mileage There will be a barn call of $20 to $50 based on distance to cover fuel and travel time.
